THE LEIBSTER AWARD

I was lucky enough to be awarded the Leibster Award by the lovely Daisy (check out her blog here). This award celebrates the 'smaller' blogs with under 200 readers so thank you Daisy for passing the award on to me.

You have to write 11 facts about yourself, answer the 11 questions set by the person who awarded you, create 11 questions of your own and nominate 5 blogs with a reader ship of under 200.

Here it goes :)

11 Facts about me:
I am such a typical Virgo. All the qualities a Virgo posses, I have!

I go through crazy phases of loving stuff so much until I'm sick of it. Usually its food related, like at the moment it's Brainlickers. When I say loving stuff, I mean literally obsessed with it. Its always on my mind or whatever until one day I just don't fancy it any more.

I like to have a plan of my day and know exactly what's happening in what order and at what approximate time. I have to have a plan and I can't really enjoy myself if I don't.

I love Taylor Swift.

I'm a really bad judge of character, if I meet you and dislike you pretty soon you'll probably be my best friend.

I hate missing the adverts at the cinema. If I think we're going to miss the adverts I'll make us go to a later showing.

I collect mugs from all the places I visit.

I'm crazy in love with Micheal Caine.

I cry a lot for other people, if I see emotional things on the T.V or in the paper or whatever of people going through tough things I'll start to cry. I cry so so much at films too. I cry a alot. Hardly ever because of things that are going on with me though.

I really wish I was naturally blonde or that blonde hair suited me (I've tried it, it doesn't)

I care a lot what people think of me.

11 Questions from Daisy

What did/do you study?
I study Ancient History and Egyptology joint honours

Your favourite brand of make up?
I don't really have one, I usually just buy what I see other bloggers/youtubers loving and recommending  I do have a lot of Bourjois products though, I think they are good value for money and I've not been let down by anything of theirs yet so I'll say Bourjois.

Why did you get into blogging?
I wanted a place I could write down my thoughts and experiences and adventures.

What do you work as or if you are a student?
I'm a student so don't have a full time job at the moment but I do waitress part time when I'm back home.

WHAT A DIFFERENCE A YEAR MAKES

Wow, what a difference a year makes! I can't believe how much has changed in 12 little months. So much has happened! I've had some major ups and downs but I'm still here. Still alive and kicking. I made some major achievements, did things I never thought I'd be able to do, accomplished things I never thought I'd be able to achieve. I've also made some silly decisions, stupid mistakes and bad choices; but who hasn't hey?

But, despite all the lows, there was some major highs and things I'm so proud of and I can't wait for the adventure that is going to be 2013 to begin. All the good times and all the inevitable bad times that are going to come during these 365 days. It's going to be exciting and emotional I'm sure and at the end of this year there are things I want to have achieved.

There are things that are way beyond my control and I'd be stupidly naive if I thought that 2013 was going to be everything I wanted it to be. No matter how hard I try I'm going to have bad days, down days and days I'm not going to want to get out of bed and face the world, but that's okay. As long as I have adventures and fun and laugh more times then I cry then it's going to a good year. A great year even.
